Jeremiah Gaefke Rabbited on to Stephen Fairclough Barszc:
JG> SF> I don't know wether this is the correct area for this but,
JG> SF> Is there anybody out there who can tell me the safest way to keep my
JG> SF> tropical fish tank temprature down?
JG> SF> As the two thermometers are at the top of the scale at 82 degrees
JG> SF> faranhite.
JG> Question? Do you have a heater, if so, You might want to turn it down.
I do have a heater and it is turned down as low as it will go.
JG> You could also try dropping a few ice cubes in every day. That will serve
JG> a
JG> double purpose. Keep the temp. down and it will put a little more water
n
JG> it
JG> every day.
I will try that cheers, but it only shot up during the last spell of
hot weather we had and as it has cooled down now to 78% it's O.K. for
now.
JG> Hope this helps.
Thanks for your help, I will bare your suggestions in mind for the
next heatwave. [If we get one].
Bye for now
