Inspecta is nice.  The first thing registered here when I switched to OS/2.
It has a similar limitation.  The file_names and descriptions are kept in a 
64kb image.  That allows for approx 300 files with 200 character, or 400 
files with 150 character, descriptions.  We hit the wall with that a year or 
so ago.  Sigh!
Next time you are emailing David ask him about the 32 bit version.
