I saw a friend's latest and greatest white box.
Saw the builder had done it on the cheap :-(
2 slots, everything on the motherboard, 64 Meg RAM
shared by onboard video and Win XP software.

Only thing that screamed in that machine was the processor.

My Knoppix Linux 433 Celeron with 256 Meg RAM blows it away
performancewise.

His machine under 1 year old, mine 1998!
