i seem to recall soupgate from eons ago... IIRC, .BAG files are soup files
or some such... that may be a key step in getting GIGO operational if you
want to use it to gate the 'net stuff into fidonet PKTs for tossing with
your normal mail tosser...

outbound stuff would likely be a while 'nother horse, though... GIGO makes
UUCP outbound XQT type files like are used with oldstyle UUCP
connections... the GIGOSMTP stuff reads them and does the SMTP thing with
them instead of having to use UUCP to send them... are you looking to do
two-way gating or just inbound of news and mailing lists??
