BS> FidoNews is a weekly newsletter distributed in electronic form
BS> throughout the Network. It is a very important medium by which

BS> communicate with each other, and helps to provide a communal sense

BS> submissions is listed at the bottom of each issue, and available on
BS> file from the Editor, as well as many other FidoNet systems.

Not to diminish the importance of Fidonews, but I'm getting real curious
now. If Fidonews is copywritten by the editor, and the editor picks
his/her replacement, and the sysops don't have any say in who is the
Fidonews Editor, why even have Fidonews mentioned in Policy 4 at all?
What control does Fidonet exercise over the editor to insure that the content
facilitates any of the above?
