To be honest, I think even the sysop editors (Golded+, TimEd, MsgEd, etc) quote
them as printed, which changes the way they originally looked before adding the
quote prefix.

I definitely wouldn't cut off the end of the lines, as that would remove some
of the 2D addresses in the SEEN-BY lines.. which wouldn't be good for any kind
of debugging that would need those..
