That's right - the .JPG is a reduction of a full broadsheet page.  And she
was advertising fertiliser.

Peugeot immediately announced they would go one better, and publish a
full-frontal nude.

They did, about a fortnight later.  It was a girl (I assume - only the bows
in her hair gave it away) of about ten to twelve months, sittng
cross-legged smiling straight at the camera.  Underneath was the slogan:

"Would you believe she takes as much room in a car as two adults?"

Peugeot were advertising station wagons, of course.
