Hi Sandy,
I'm not familiar with the Vision series much, except I raced against a Vision
32 a few years back, and it didn't do that well, even with the Hunter dealer,
who is a good skipper, at the helm. However, that could be the result of a
number of contributory variables, including a light air day and not so
objective TOD scoring. The interiors and structures of the Visions are
eally
good, according to usual scuttlebutt, and well suited for family cruising.
-----------
Well, I did manage to talk to some dealers, and they say that Hunter
never "really" had a real problem, but in the early 80's, there were a few
boats (he said 1 or 2) which had problems. Past that, Hunters have been
crossing oceans regularly without any problems. What attracts me most is
the interior. They seem to have made good use of the entire waterline, and
most have aft staterooms, even the 28! Now, this is all well and good, but
I want to make sure the rest of the boat is up to par... I do plan to sail!
:^).
Cheers,
