He used to own one.
When I was in England a few years back, I stopped into a gun shop, and
we got to talking.  I mentioned firearms prices in the US, and they were
puzzled as to why Springfields cost so much more than Enfields in the US
market.
I explained about national pride, supply and demand, and so on -- and
wound up by saying "Besides, the Enfield is as ugly as a thrombosed
hemrrhoid." :-)
