 Seems like you jsut Agreed with me.
BUT hardware compatability is a far bigger problem for LINUX then
Windows is al lI am saying. Adn the "Little Hackers" just are not
keeping up. And telling someone IF he wants to use LINUX he is going to
have to Replace some of his Hardware is just unaceptable in my Book.
Exemple; Even with Charles highly Touted KNOPPIX it dosen't properly
handle my USB ports o nmy test machine. There is a boot command to
enable USB and it in boot up it seems to detect something. BUT they do
NOT work.
You already mentioned the Modem Glitch. YES there are a few WinModems
that will work but MANY don't. Saying soemone must but a 450 Hardware
modem is surely a "Glitch" isin't it?
