Three years already ? Geez.

I think the overall reliability is comparable to what compuserve *was back
then*....(I had some nasty problems with their dialup earlier this year -
no problems since I got DSL and 'piggyback' on my winsock connection
). Speed from home is astounding !!! (And yes, I've
already read your later comment about the server ). That's doing
a single pass (usually somewhere around 18:30-19:00 Eastern) with Freeagent
to d/l all the new messages in the sections that I read here.

I check nthelp & binaries once or twice a week at work using Netscape
and just read the messages that I want to read.....it is sometimes slow to
connect, but that's daytime using an internet connection that's shared with
(potentially) ~200 people .

Overall ? .... no complaints - just my thanks for keeping 'canopus' alive.

Doug
