Obviously people have gone over the edge on this issue. I have driven
almost nothing but 4WD SUVs for 15 years. Haven't landed in a ditch, turned
one turtle, etc. And I do venture out in the worst weather. The issue isn't
the vehicle, but the person behind the wheel.

These days I spend about 8-10 hours a day on the road. And the most
egregious driving isn't by people in SUVs on the whole (though some are
right up there), but more likely some asshole in a tricked out Asian import
(sub)compact, BMW drivers on their cellphone, limo drivers (these maybe the
worst), or some strung out semi driver.
