IM> 1) When you did the heli thing I didn't see the need either. As amatter
I don't see the relation, myself. For starters, there is a _lot_ of traffic
in AVIATION, and unless you read _every_ message, finding heli talk can be a
time consuming chore, so the thought was to have a separate echo. It's doing
pretty well, lately. Not a whole lot of activity, but it's _ALL_ hover
related, RC controlled all the way up to the big brute full size.
Creating an RC for sale echo is just redundant and since there is no real
great amount of traffic in either RCM or RC_MODEL (20-30 messages a day max
in RC_MODEL), neither is burdened with the very few for sale/wanted ads that
occasionally pop up in them.
IM> of fact I never foundit and the heli talk on RCM dissappeared, my loss
 IM> eh!
You didn't look hard... Whirlybirds has been on the backbone for a long time.
Yep, your loss.
IM> 2) Doesn't fido check for traffic before letting the locals expand?
Yes. Or at the time Whirlybirds came about, they did. What's the point?
