subject: A few questions

Stephen,

I bet you hate message titles like that.

Just a few questions:

1) Would it be possible to have the number of possible reports
generated in EzyTicIt to 25 or so? I do post in a lot of networks (I
have a lot of file areas coming in and out) and I do hatch a lot, so
that would be handy.

2) I tried to hatch a file using: ezyticit /hatch and I got:

(null) : Unknown command line parameter!

Then, I tried: ezyticit /hatch /? and I got:

(null) : Unknown command line parameter!

Running: ezyticit /? gets the same message.

Is it my doing that is causing the errors?

3) Now this one will drive you crazy. I set up a batch file using
Ezyutil to do all of my echolist updating via netmail. For example, I
use this line (not wordwrapped of course):

ezyutil -import -A1 -FSean_Dennis -TEcholist -U1:1/21.0 -SMOD_UPD
-Ld:\autopost\elist\allpol.upd

And I get:

þ Ezyutil Message Import
þ Invalid Network Address

So, I go back to the directions and it says use 5D. So I go back in
and change the netmail address to 1:1/21.0{at}Fidonet and look:

þ Ezyutil Message Import
þ Invalid Network Address

Needless to say, I'm kinda going nuts by now. I begin to tinker and
if I REMOVE the {at}Fidonet and run the first command line at the actual
command line, not in a batch file ... it works.

So, no matter what style (4D or 5D) of address I use, Ezyutil won't do
it in a batch file. But, if I use 4D, at the command line, it works.

Ideas?

BTW, I hope you feel that I'm not pestering you. I just tend to be a
good tester because I use all of my programs to the limit at times and
my system has to be fully automated because the amount of traffic I
handle.

If you need any files or other data, either netmail me or (MUCH
FASTER), email me at hausmaus{at}darktech.org and I'll give you anything
you need.

Patrick and I went over and over the netmail thing and just scratched
our heads at the end of it all. :>

Later,
Sean
