A few usefull URL's where one can find Open Source
prograns for Windows. A lot of these are ports from
Linux of things like Xchat to FTPclients-servers and
all the normal things like Mozilla. I even found a
port of Nmapwin (for Win2000/XP only) to check if
Firewall are open or closed. Plus heaps more things

For (1) + (2) following you can biy a CD quite cheep

(1) The GNUWin II v.2.2 project
Select a Lanuage from here -> http://gnuwin.org

Take a look in the PROGRAMS link on the left, pick
a Group. You can download any individual program

(2) The OpenCD project (v.1.0)
NOTE:- You can d/l an ISO and make a CD - or -
you can also download individual programs

Go into THE PROGRAMS on the left AND as well as
the list of the programs on the CD, on the right
is LIST OF CANDIDATE PROGRAMS (most not on the CD)
that can be downloaded as well (or got from the sites)

(3) Suggested Software (open source)

(4) Bootdisk.com
Has boot disks for all MS operating systems as well
as a very good list of applications in the UTILITY

Although all the Boot Disks are Free (includes some
Linux ones) I can not garentee all Utilitys are Free
