There will be a Meeting of the Melbourne Commodore Computer Club on

Wednesday of next week (14th Sept)  at the Nunawading Civic Centre getting

underway at 7.30 P.M.  With some of the discussion taking place at the

last meeting in regards to opening the club up to users of other

computers, would be nice to see some new faces turn up, just to show that

there is still some life left in the C64/128 ranks.



I feel it would be a shame for this club to go the way of most of the

others, as its quite a vibrant place at times.  Its worth a visit, just to

check out the Traders Table, as some bargains are usually evident there,

have to get in early tho, to beat me.



Also a good opportunity to meet some of the faces behind the names you see

on the bbs, as Allan Swinden, Ivan Blitz and myself will be there.

Possibly Tarragon and Russell also.



Some of the things seen at recent meetings have been BOTH of Australias
only 2 C-65's (at the time, I believe there are 3 in Oz now)

A CMD Hard Drive has been demonstrated, and the perfect use for any Pc was
shown in the form of the 64 NET prg & cable, making the pc's HD into a
slave drive for the C64!



So lets hope to see some more of you come along and see whats available
thru a club such as The MELBOURNE COMMODORE COMPUTER CLUB.
