The choke on my Rochester-Quadrojet would not work with the new (used)
manifold on my engine so I disconnected the choke, later on I had an engine
fire and there was no point with even having the choke on the carb at all so
I took it completely off. Anyway to get to the point, the engine starts and
runs just fine without it.
