subject: Tweaking SVGA 100x40 text

ET>Hi!
ET>My Tseng ET4000 based videocard does has a nice 100x40 textmode, I've a
ET>program included with the videocard which does put it in this mode, but
ow
ET>would I tweak it myself (not by calling via the bios, but put the values
n
ET>the registers myself). How can I discover which values are needed in which
ET>registers (by disassembling the included program?), and how to put these
ET>values in the registers?
I've got an ET4000 as well, but I think even XMode uses the bios call... if
you disassembled the video bios, you might be able to determine which
registers to use...
