The first year we went outside we spent a month at Apache Junction, AZ.
The couple next door went out for every meal. The wife explained "When he
retired, so did I."
As a rule for Connie and me...if we went out for more than 3 or 4 days,
typically on vacation, we got really tired of it. We spent about 2 weeks in
Fiji, trapped on an island, and when we went on to New Zealand...we went to the
store, bought a loaf of bread, some jam/jelly, some peanut butter, and a liter
of milk. Had a picnic on the beach, it was wonderful!
