sent to a Braille or speech device on LPT1; but it was far less convenient
to access these screens than to access the afore-mentioned programs.
A lot of modern machines include BIOS programs which configure the CMOS
via graphical displays.  As far as I can tell, there is absolutely no way
to access these via speech or Braille.  Also, some machines (mine proved
