I've read your message about Microsoft office pro, I didn't know all that.
But, what I can tell you, on the box there is no mention, nor has there
ever been of the software being not for retail sale, or demo version.

I don't have a CD-ROM, I haven't opened it, so I cannot tell you if access
is included, or just a voucher, but it does have access on the front of the
box.
