Geoff was speaking when Will spoke up....
GD> the problems are experienced at the bread and butter point of comms
GD> programmes - uploading and downloading!

GD> Since sending the message, I have followed the tips recommended by
GD> Gordon Vanscheik and have made a few minor changes to my windows
Follow Gordons' tips & make a TMW.PIF the same as a dos TM.PIF,
worked great for me and my 28k8 modem.
GD> The only remaining problem I seem to have is the "jerkiness" of the
GD> screen updates. As others have reported, it seems to update in
GD> "blocks", not a seamless scrolling effect.
I had this problem with ANSI screens & a font pitch of 14, went back
	to 9 & no jerks.
(off-topic moment) My wife is 100% Irish Doherty, not many spell it
that way. Been "down under" long? She's 3rd generation from Ireland.
No help on you're quick-dial dual number problem. I've had all the
betas & haven't figured that one out yet. Have the nagging feeling
it's simple & probably in the docs!
... "Hola" Geoff, from Sunny Tucson, Arizona!
