Re: C/G X500 Power Panel, Burning out glow plugs.
Over a period of the last few months, I have been experiencing
continuous problems with this unit burning out glow plugs. Up to
this time, I have returned to Customer Service at least 6 (SIX)
units. Although the cust. serv. rep., Carl, has been very understanding,
and replacing the faulty panels with new ones, the problem still
    remained.
Finally. after several phone conversations with Carl, we mutually
agreed that he would personally check out a C/G X500 Power Panel
and send it to me, and work or not, that would be the end of it.
Fine, NO problem. However, I have not received a power panel, or
an answer to the letter I last wrote to his attention asking for
at least to let me know just what was causing the problem, and to
    forget sending another panel.
I have installed to the same wiring and new 12V Gell Cell a Thunder
Tiger Power Panel, and it works just fine. This is the same wiring
and gell cell used with the C/G unit. NO MORE BURNT OUT PLUGS.
I am anxious to know if there is anyone else out there that has or
is having the same experience as I have. I have spent a lot of time
and effort in trying to solve this dilemma. Its one thing to fail in
finding an answer to a difficult problem, but it's even harder to
be ignored by those who are supposed to be there to help.
