CG>I also tidied the lounge and discovered a use for the carcasses
CG>of the old clock-radios. Said carcasses are plastic shells, about
CG>8"x4"x3" with the radio removed. They make great containers for
CG>the small (2") pots in which I start seedlings. Rather neat,
CG>on the window ledge, having ivy sprout from the radio!
Tsk! Christopher, those plastic radios, with guts, if they are more
than 20 years old, are worth a small fortune. I saw one old
discoloured Addison go for $800 about 10 years ago. It's worth $1200
today, last I heard. I would definitely recycle such items as
antiques, and also recycle the resulting dinero. :-)
Too bad they are gutless. :-(
