It is certainly realistic. I use my OS/2 desktop system as the local
firewall/router with InJoy Firewall and a pair of NICs. It also runs
servers for local net DNS, webproxy, email, and SSH tunnels.
Different firewall options are available, but I'm confident that Injoy
has the most and the best features for both configuration and
logging/accounting. Beyond that, I trust FX ;-}
