I think I started this particular sub-thread in a reply to Jane. You
are right..there are many meds that, if they have been taken over a
long period of time to build up to a theraputic level, should not be
abruptly discontinued. My reference was to prozac and a bad reaction
within the first 24 - 48 hours - you bet I'd stop.
