I think tracks could refer to children; but, in a more general sense, it
refers to all we do that is memorable, whether good or evil. Just as
one can tell a lot about a person by the tracks they leave in the sand
on the beach, or through a forest, one can tell much about a person by
the good or bad deeds they do, by the influences they have on others,
by the marks they leave on the lives of others.
And I refuse to believe you are not a deep thinker unless you can prove
otherwise to me beyond the shadow of any doubt.
