Thanks.  You are the second person who has told me this.  Glad you
enjoyed it, and I hope the recipients enjoyed it as well.
 
Progress report: The kittens at 1 1/2 weeks old are growing like little
weeds!  Their mother got it into her head today to move them from the
safety of the birthing box up on my bed.  By the time I discover it,
(all 4 times so far), one has fallen down between the bed and the floor.
That wouldn't be too bad, but it's so tight down there that I don't
think that she is small enough to get in there to get it.  I round up
the kittens and put them back in the birthing box and scold her...
In an attempt to get her to keep them in the box, I put the little
"house" that she kept going to when she was in labor into the birthing
box.  She has them in there with her, and seems to be content.  I hope
that convinces her to keep them there.  Of course when they get to
jumping around, (another couple of weeks), I will have to take it out
or they will use it to get out, and there is enough danger here for
really little kittens, including getting on my bed when I'm sleeping,
that I want to keep them in the box as long as possible.  I figure by
the time they can jump up two feet to get out of a box, they are about
ready to be turned loose upon the place... Heaven help us!   :->
