I thought I noticed a message by you asking about what to do with the
leftover wrapping paper. You've had a couple of interesting responses.
I hope you don't mind a couple more ideas.
Great fire starter material. Small amounts can be composted.
Perfect for lining rodent cages and well shredded pieces make bedding.
I use smaller pieces for next years tags.
Donated to local schools they often find great craft uses for it.
I have a small box I keep scrap paper in for note taking.
It is pretty lining for the bottom of drawers if pieces are big.
Used instead of newspaper when testing germination of seeds.
Crumpled up inside of shoe toes to keep their shape.
In my photo album of christmas pictures I like to use the paper as
matting and I also cut out any pictures from the paper that compliment
the page. An example is to use a row of cut out pictures as a border, a
picture of a bow placed on the corner of a picture looks great, I also
try to use the Christmas cards I received. Some of them make really
great frames. I cut out the fireplace opening on a picture and put the
cats picture in there or if the picture is bordered just cut the whole
picture out and replace it with a family photo. These make the photo
album look so great for no cost.
