I called them. That place is a ripoff. You have to order 500 sleeves to get
your first decent "price break" on sleeves, and IF you order 500 sleeves, you
get them for about 27.50. It comes to about a nickel a sleeve. That's
expensive, a nickel a sleeve! If you don't get at least 500, they're 9 cents
a sleeve! That's robbery! I used to get sleeves for a penny a sleeve!
Plus, this 10% thing really pisses me off. In their catalog, they say "all
prices include shipping" - then in the back of their catalog, in small print,
you read that if you live in any state west of Mississippi, you have to pay
them an extra 10%! Why is *THAT*? I checked with UPS, and it costs the
EXACT SAME for them to ship something to California as it does for them to
ship something to New Hampshire. (Bags Unlimited is in New York). This
extra 10% B.S. is just a way for them to pad their already fat wallets - to
get a little extra *profit* out of each sale - as if they aren't already
charging exorbitant prices.
That's why in my first message, I asked for an INexpensive source for
sleeves. Bags Unlimited is not cheap - they are the most expensive source in
the nation...
