Sounds like the Hard Drive Controller Driver (*.ADD file).  What SCSI 
controller are you using, and have you "acquired" the latest driver for 
it and have it on the Boot Disk??

Sounds like there is a good driver on eCS 1.2.  You could always copy 
the *.ADD files and their "sniffer files" that are newer to the WSeB 
Floppies.

I have never had any SMP systems to try..  IIRC the main installation 
screen has an option for the SMP Kernel.  I will need to check my WSeB 
system... ;)
