EV>Abiko is a new term/word for what I've always called Faston Terminals.
EV>I'll look the word up to see if it is in the Wordweb dictionary.
EV>I have seen two different sizes of Faston terminals in things that I
EV>have got to salvage the parts out of them.
0.187 and 0.25 are the ones most popular. There is am standard because
twi Identicla batteries i nphycsical size an Ah Rating camn be
different.
As mentioned before the 0.25 connectors work pwefectly on the 0.187 tabs
but the other way there is a problem.
EV>The Terminal Size Specification most likely isn't in the Specs for the UPS
EV>Battery, so I wouldn't know until I get the replacement battery if the
EV>Battery Specification has changed (Improved) over these past five years.
Depends on where you get the batteries. I a lot of cases I see the tab
size in the specifications for the battery.
MCM Electronics notes the connector size. They are also a good benchmark
on what you can expect to pay.
