I am not really into InterBBS stuff, so don't know the answer to question
#1.  Other than that the last known official work on LordNet was that
Y2K patch update that Rick Parrish did.  I understand that some of the
source code files for Lordnet got lost by Joseph masters, so that's one
reason no one has done a newer version.  

As for MZKLord, it is now fully supported.  The author Matt Marlor is
available if you need support.  Contact him via email at 
mmarlor{at}bigpond.net.au.  You can get MZK Lord 6.00 from my web-site using
this URL:

I've never really understood the difference between InterBBS and LordNet
