| subject: | Installing WSeB |
I am trying to install WSeB on an IBM IntelliStation M Pro. It has 2
Xeon 2.2Ghz cpus, 1 Gb of Rambus memory and a 9 Gb scsi harddrive.
I have tried installing from the cd and using install disks with the
same result. It gets as far as the WSeB splash screen, lists the kernal
it is installing in the bottom left corner. There is some floppy
activeity the harddrive light filickers a couple of times then it just
sits there.
As a test I installed ecs 1.2 on it with no problem.
Another question. It says it is installing a UNI kernal. If I manage
to get it to install does this mean I will be limited to 1 cpu or will
it substitute an SMP kernal futher on in the installation?
Any help appreciated.
Regards, Jim
