AZ> TW> Let us know what you think of it. I recently transitioned my desktop
AZ> TW> from 7 to 10 and did not like anything i saw. Tyhat cahanged almost
AZ> TW> everythign just for hte sake of Change and Bragging rights!! :-)
AZ> TW> After weeeks of tweeking and some helpful hints from the moderator I
AZ> TW> finally got it half way tollerable for me.
AZ>Win 8 was the version that changed everything.... Win 10 is an attempt by
AZ>Microsoft to
AZ>recognize that Win 8 changed to many things too fast for a user base that wi
AZ>take many years to transition to touch-screen systems, while maintaining a
AZ>sense that the touch-screen user interface is the direction they want to go
AZ>the long run.
AZ>My biggest complaints with it:
AZ>-- I don't find the Start Menu particularly useful. (Then again, the
AZ>last time I was relatively happy with the Start Menu was with Windows 2000)
AZ>-- While the Settings/Control Panel is better integrated than it in
AZ>Windows 8, it still is disjointed - with 'advanced settings' for most items
AZ>jumping to the old-style Control Panel items.
I could never could get used to the Win7 Start menu so installed the
program "Classic Start" which presented 3 options. I chose win XP look.
That was the First tweek I made to Win 10
