We have a (DOS) program that returns the version number in a DOS
errorlevel. Since it's only an integer, you have to multiply by 100 to
get the correct number. Once you get beyond 255, you're stuck!
BTW, this is used in a batch file to map users to a DOS directory on a
Novell network...
