I have to agreee that there are a lot of people with odd ideas about
this and that.  The conspiracy theory of big business is not real
but in many ways it is not totally irrational.  The extreme profit
margins common today, fueled by recention or modification of many of
our monopoly laws in the 1980's, has placed an unusually large gap
between the upper and lower class.  All while nearly eliminating the
middle class of our economy.  The fact that profit is no longer
based on true value but on percieved value (read hype, spin or pure
fad) is confusing to many.  I have to admit I am not confused but
frustrated by the profits of many large corporate entities and
corporate exectives (ref: one of many, COCA COLA 260 Million to the
ceo a year or two ago ). Additionally, although there is no true
conspiracy, there is a link of communication in industry that
functions to create that image.  Perceptions are not always correct
but are indicators of trouble in a society.
