The one I have is about 5 yrs. old. As I recall it boots to a
commandline. I don't know if the newer one is gui or not, but
doubt it. Whether or not your seagate software will have to be
determined by you.
I don't think there is room on the knoppix iso because it is
probably packed with other files and you may have a big job on your
hands trying to chop out pieces and add others.
