They may say that but he hasn't apparently delved deeper into the climate
history. What we have seen so far in this period is only the natural
variations in the activity of the sun.
No president or king were able to do anything to the Maunder (1645-1715)
nor Dalton (1730-1890) minima. They just happened during two periods of
very low sun activity (sunspot numbers).
You and I are lucky to be old enough to not being hit by the cold
climate but our children and grandchildren will feel it.
