| subject: | Named Pipes + DOS TSR |
Perhaps you could try an Os/2 program or Rexx Addin Function which would open the pipe for you. Then you can read and write to it from a DOS VDM. I believe I saw a Rexx Demo called Server.cmd which opened a named pipe for use by other programs. I have successfully read from an OS/2 named acknowledged pipe using a DOS VDM written in GWBasic. The Rexx Server is easy to start. Try locating a copy of RxUtils package. This could work? --- Maximus/2 2.02* Origin: The OS/2 Source (1:104/338) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 430 SEEN-BY: 711/807 808 809 934 942 949 712/353 515 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 104/338 730 1 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 808 809 934 |
