Of course if you've got >512 meg or larger simms then that might be a problem... > >WarpDavey > > Hi Davey, The RAM fitted isn't a problem with PQPM6. PQPM6 can be run: 1). natively in 32-bit Windoze 2). from a PQPM-specified/created DOS-boot-floppy using DOS 32-bit extenders Both of the above have HPFS support for all previously allowed operations, and in addition multiple operations can be combined into a script [automatically) - i.e. you specify all of the operations to be done first, then you commit those operations. Version 3.05.302 for OS/2 was the final version of the *Native* PQPM, and *that* is what has a problem with >256MB RAM *in* *OS/2*. Probably because Windoze uses so much RAM, or hides it, the Windoze version of PQPM 3.05 will run with greater than 256MB RAM fitted, and the DOS-floppy-boot version (pqmagict.exe) has problems with disks >8GB. The Native OS/2 version handles at least up to 80GB disks, probably up to 137GB.
