Just a qwick butt in here. I'll quote what is in my local phone book under
the
Question - Can phone calls be recorded? "It is illegal to record a
elephone
conversation without the consent of both parties prior to the recording of
the coversation. Prior consent must be obtained in writing or be part of,
and obtained at the start of the recording."

911 just sent out a questionnaire here in Brown County OH. that had some
personal questions on it that I wouldn't answer, and I'm volunteer fire
fighter here. The thing is you may give some info out that you are assured
will be kept confidential, but soon you find that with out your consent every
body that has some affiliation with the 911 system in your area has access to
you info.
Say that I am a shooting enthusiast and I put info that would help fire
fighters know that there is a supply of ammo located in a particular part of
the house. Now you have just told local law inforcement you are a gun freak
and should be dealt with as such! Give them only what they need, name,
ddress
and the nearest cross street. That is all the need to get there and provide
help.
... Don't hit me, Mr. Moderator... I'll go back on topic... I swear!
