leaf nodes!
For the past few weeks now I've been taking fresh cuttings and
making sure that the lowest leaf-node was under water.
Success all the time!
Not only that, but today while emptying one bin to prime my
tower-pail composter, I came across a shred of creeper that had
been buried under eight inches of soil in a pail for three weeks.
There is some life left in the one broad leaf, but more
interestingly, each of the five leaf-nodes on the ragged stem
have sprouted roots. The force of life is strong. I have potted
the little sucker, and tented it in a clean clear plastic bag.
