I don't know if I should give any of the government pinhead's and idea, but 
as far as I know it is illegal to listen to cordless phone freq's and 
conversations but if they wanted to do some thing about it they would have 
made it illegal to have the freq's programed into a scanner. You see they 
want 
pacify those who wanted the scanner enthusiast stopped but not enough to 
put teeth in the law. So the passed some more feel good legislation that made 
bad law.
