I saw the same interview you did.  Obviously we have different 
interpretations of what he was trying to accomplish by saying what he did.  
But I do know he didn't say Hirschbeck was "understandably" bitter.  That is 
nothing but Alan's spin control to make it sound like Alomar was more 
sympathetic than he was.
