Depending on your application mix, an 8x card may not provide a noticable performance boost. As Felix noted, G450s, including dual heads, are available on eBay at almost giveaway prices. As I noted, SciTech has a compatibility list. It is at: http://www.scitechsoft.com/chiplist/snap_os2_chiplist.html This is probably the support list of the full product. If you only have SNAP/SE, some of the newer, high end cards on the list might not be fully supported, but these are not what you are interested in. It appears that new chipsets/cards are appended to the listings, so you want to look at the items near, but not at the end of the list. In my case, I'm running Matrox on the older 2x boxes and ATI on the newer boxes 4x-8x boxes. The ATI was given to me so the choice was easy. :-) Steven -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "Steven Levine" MR2/ICE 2.60b #10183 Warp4/FP15/14.093c_W4 www.scoug.com irc.fyrelizard.com #scoug (Wed 7pm PST) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------ Yahoo!
