This is only thing I could see of interest to me in Lord echo currently, to
respond about.  I thought it was the sysop's responsibility to monitor
behavior in the door games they operate?  And to punish said bullies? So
why aren't the sysops doing that in the situation you are describing?

The only true way to handle this situation I know from my old BBS days of
co-sysop-ing and playing Lord is to notify the sysop when someone is
abusing the Lord game.  Then if the sysop doesn't do anything, it is up to
the user to decide whether they want anything else to do with said BBS. 
But every sysop I knew would do something to handle this kind of situation,
once they knew it existed.  

Lpedit - the Lord player editor that I finished in January 2003 with
Charlie Wardick's guidance, will take care of those bullies pretty quick.
Just select their Lord player record, and give them a "Clean
Slate", and they lose everything they have.  There are two settings. 
One does the kind of reset that you get when you kill Red Dragon.  The
other makes them the same as a brand new player.  Up to sysop which
punishment to use.

Everyone playing the Lord game can see the person was punished for bad
behavior in the Daily News.  If the punks keep up the bad behavior, then it
is time for said sysop to kick their sorry butts off of their BBS
permanently in my opinion.

As for subject on using DOS TSR's, I just run the only one I use, ANSI,
from start.bat when playing LORD game.  Am switching to win-xp now, so
looks like I will continue doing that.  And as to RTE200, I'm not worrying
any more about finding lost Lord authors.  Has mostly been a total waste of
time, and I got tired of dozens of email failure messages from trying to
find people.  

BTW, I just waded through a ton of, what I call pure garbage, in Doorgames.
Looked like someone let the abuse and name-calling go on a long time. I
sure hope that doesn't ever happen in this echo also. What with Bobby Queen
being in bad health, as of my last contact with him months ago, who is
moderating Lord echo now? Donald.
