subject: Threads and classes

Hello All,

Is it possible to create a class with a function which starts a function
from the same class in another thread, either using the _beginthread()
function or the IThread class from the User Interface Class Library (I'm
using the IBM C/C++ Tools)?

For example, I have a class with the functions open() (public) and
SessionThrd() (private). I want open() to start SessionThrd() on another
thread.

I've tried several things, but can't get it to work. Can anybody give a
working example?

Regards, Ruud
