Ankur, I have found that keeping the port speed locked at 38400 will run ALL 
of the door games I have tried, while trying to run a higher port speed has 
occassionally caused odd system behavior. I run 28.8 modems here since on our 
local phone lines even getting that speed with any consistency is laughable.
  Your problem might be with the door games themselves. Check to see what the 
highest fossil speed they support might be.
