BM> ... and noticed you've mentioned being in Oklahoma. I was just
ondering
BM> from whence you hail? I live out east of Tulsa and have lived in this
part of

Yes. You've been on our "board" more than once... :) (I'm not really a
"Sir", but the other half of "Mr. Gratisnet", in Owasso.
BM> I like Columbines quite a bit and try to grow many of the species
varieties.
BM> I was wondering if you would know where I might obtain plants or seeds
of
BM> Paraquilegias.
I too, like Columbines. However, I had to go (back to Alabama to take care
of my parents,) several summers and my "men-folk" let many of my perennials
(...ohhhh, it hurts too much to *say* it! :) anyway, I'm afraid my meager
Columbine collection was part of that bunch, and I've not abeen able to
replace them yet. I will, however, look this winter/spring, as I do my own
looking.
BM> I managed to find a mail order company that had them and they limited it
to
BM> one plant per order at $5 a plant. The tiny thing was so small I had to
dig
BM> through the potting soil to find it. It didn't last a week.
What a bummer! It happens, tho. I'm surprised they didn't replace it, tho.
Not very good advertisement for them, I'm afraid...
Like I said, I'll be on the look out, as I do my own stuff.
cheers,
WL Sakowski
